![]() ![]() No sooner has our protagonist left the tunnel than he’s launched skyward by a backhand from an ogre. The pitch suitably set for bathos, no series fan will be surprised by what happens next. ![]() ![]() I will show them that even I can be the best player.” This message was edited 3 times.“I’ve made it,” monologues a goblin, donning chainmail and spiked shoulderpads in the changing rooms. You're not going to find these changes in fumbbl or any other digital game stuck in 10 year old rules. I'm just puzzled that people are surprised about changes in BB after GW released 6 new books and 8 Spike Magazines. Don't see how that's more stupid than throw a rock from the bog standard kick-off table? I enjoy most of the new stuff including wizards, one of them can turn a player into a toad! But then I play mainly campaign/season with full XP and team development. The core rules of previous edition is 30 pages worth of content (plus teams). It is a new edition with loads of new content. You are basically playing previous edition of Blood Bowl, not BB2016. Hopefully GW will not tinker too much with the ruleset if they plan on a new addition. I don't play with them, but again, I'm mainly just playing in tournaments.Ī few others I have forgotten, but for the most part it's the same game we've been playing for years. ![]() A bunch of new coach staff, team wizards, weather and stadium rules, special ball rules, etc. Some new star players (and some old star players with name changes). Piling On requires a reroll I like that change as well. Human Catchers went down from 70k to 60k. Lizards have a new chameleon skink positional. The other one, Hooligan, helps with fan factor but seems pointless as well. Goblins have two more positionals I like the new Doom Diver. Not something that comes into play that often, and seemed unnecessary. If they cause a casualty, they can reroll the badly hurt result if I remember correctly. The changes from the old Living Rule Book/CRP to BB2016 are minimal, and some kinda pointless.įor example, Skaven Gutter Runners have "weeping dagger" skill simply because the newer models have a small dagger in their hand. I also don't use the cards and rarely get to use a wizard (my tabletop playing is mostly in resurrection tournaments these days). We do not use the cards or wizards, they seem very stupid. I play the Tomb Kings, and they are the same there as on the blood bowl team of legends PDF. I am in a very cassual BB league and I just used fumble for the most part. Niiai wrote: The skaven got new skills as well? And goblins got new skills? Guessing Ogres will still suck with "free" snotlings, but they can spend more on inducements this way. Yet to see what their pitch rules are, and if they get any special ball(s) in the future. Or bring a team of only snotlings and have TV only from re-rolls, apo, FF, Cheerleaders and Assisting Coaches. With 10 snotlings, you can save 200TV, but Runt punter is +10k compared to standard ogres. First team with Kick Team-mate (Runt punter) on the roster. 2 new skills, Disposable and Sporting Giant (for the slave giant). Many new things for Ogres! New Slave Giant star player (base size is 4 squares!). You should expect new stuff multiple times each year! Then there are all sorts of other new content (special play cards, kick-off tables, weather tables, pitch/stadium rules, special balls, inducements, wizards, (in)famous coaching staff ++). Beware, every other team gets some new skills in BB2016! Skaven got a new skill, Gobbos got new positions and new skills, Halflings got new position and skill, Lizardmen got new position. ![]()
